WetCrane-Nucleon Mobile boat hoists.

What is Nucleon about?

Nucleon is a company from Sino-Singaporean origin that was established in 2005. Nucleon currently employs about 1700 people in Xinxiang, Henan province, People’s Republic of China.

In some people’s minds, Chinese products are of mediocre quality, at best. This may have been the case in the past, but no longer necessarily so. The new Maasvlakte terminal in Rotterdam for instance, is entirely equipped with container cranes that were made in China and Chinese products are more and more to be found on the Western market. The mobile boat hoists are found in the United Arab Emirates and other GCC countries, all of which are very demanding when it comes to quality.
Until Wetcrane was founded, Nucleon’s customers were mainly in South East Asia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Australia. We believe that Nucleon’s quality is good and that this should enable them to enter the Western European market. Nucleon’s products have a CE certificate.

What is WetCrane about?

As per January 1st, 2016, Wetcrane is Nucleon’s agent in The Netherlands and we aim to get a share of Western Europe’s market. WetCrane is a brand name that consists of Wetering, the founder’s family name, and Crane, well …. that is obvious. The first part, “Wet”, also refers to the fact that the cranes (mobile boat hoists, container cranes) are used in an environment near to water.
